Titanic director James Cameron was the brains behind 1990s boob-tube sensation Dark Angel, a journey into a futuristic world where people are genetically engineered and trained as assassins. Main character Max Guevara escapes her predestined fate and goes on the run in Seattle, evading certain capture from government agents. Though short-lived, the show brought a certain special lady named Jessica Alba to the mainstream . . . and to viewers’ homes each week.
