Bored of her hedonistic existence, a spoiled, California-bred rebel decides to give prostitution a whirl in the jet-black comedy Mini’s First Time (2006). Nikki Reed steals the show as sixteen-year-old Mini, a twenty-first-century Lolita who’s obsessed with giving just about everything a try. While dabbling in the world’s oldest profession, Mini’s paid a surprise visit by her sleazy, two-timing stepfather (Alec Baldwin). The awkwardness quickly passes, and before long the soulless duo is scheming to have Mini’s mother committed to a mental hospital. Nick Guthe’s film is hilariously depraved, but it gets plenty of serious mileage out of starlets Reed and Svetlana Metkina, who showcase their toned bods in a pair of steamy scenes.
