Alec Baldwin plays the anti-hero in the comic-tragic crime drama Miami Blues (1990). An ex-con from California, he lands in Miami and can’t leave the airport without killing a Krishna. His love interest is just as twisted, though hotter, in the form of Jennifer Jason Leigh. She plays a hooker with a head of air but a body that won’t quit . . . and she doesn’t quit showing off her pointy peaks throughout this madcap caper. At first, violence and sex seem to work out for our loser, but naturally things take a turn for the worse and everything turns to shit. Everything, that is, except Jennifer, whose mannish hairdo and feminine figure chase those Miami blues away.
