In The Unsaid (2001), seemingly sane young mental patient Tommy (Vincent Kartheiser) longs to prove that he is fit to leave the institution and live on his own. Assigned to assess Tommy’s psycho state of fitness, psychiatrist Michael Hunter (Andy Garcia) must sort through Tommy’s past while being tortured by the boy’s resemblance to his own son who committed suicide years before. When the shrink unwraps Tommy’s gruesome past by analyzing things left unsaid, will this flaky fruitcake finally go nuts? We wouldn’t want to make you mad by giving away the ending.
