Review
An immorality tale of post-apocalyptic sex shows set in the aftermath of a nuclear holocaust, Café Flesh (1982) is that rare successful blend of a functioning art film and full gonadal insertion. Director Stephen Sayadian was a Hustler magazine alumnus, and his vision of the bombed-out future included enervated radiation victims gathering in survivalist nightclubs to watch those humans who were still able to achieve sexual relations engage in that activity onstage. Once initial filming was completed on Café, a wise decision was made to splice in real-life XXX inserts to spice up the sex scenes.
