A plague of deadly, bioengineered locusts swoops down on a small town and terrorizes the locals in the made-for-TV disaster thriller Locusts (2005). Infinitely worse than any Biblical plague, the swarm of locusts hounding an unsuspecting California populace has been specially engineered to wreak as much havoc as possible. Thankfully Department of Agriculture specialist Maddy Rierdon (Lucy Lawless) is on the case, and she uses her scientific savvy to scare off the ferocious flying creatures. Although the Xena: Warrior Princess star is wary of getting stung, she does lift off her sweater to show a bit of bra-covered cleavage during the teasing opening credits.
