The exploits of a group of bail bondsmen and the shady characters they meet on the streets are chronicled in the urban thriller The Pick Up Boyz (2004). When his agency goes under due to forfeitures, a judge tells bail bondsman Damon Styles (Clarence Reynolds) he has to apprehend 6 fugitives in 7 days to keep his license and avoid $625,000 in penalty fees. So Damon assembles a team of tough-as-nails bounty hunters and sends them out to crack some skulls and save his business.
