Sissi Perlinger

Better known as a comedian, singer and entertainer Sissi Perlinger received her acting and dancing education in Vienna, Paris, München, New York and Los Angeles. At the age of 27 Sissi had her movie debut with a supporting role in Michael Verhoeven's Schlaraffenland which was followed by the mini TV series Mit den Clowns kamen die Tränen. After several other minor appearances the brown-eyed brunette received her big break as an actress in 1996 when she was chosen to play the female lead in the thriller Der letzte Kurier. This highly acclaimed made for German television production turned out to be a major success and even earned Sissy, her co-star Sergei Garmash, director Adolf Winkelmann and cinematographer David Slama an Adolf Grimme Award in Gold for their outstanding efforts. Nevertheless she mostly stuck to supporting performances since then and opted to advance her career as a comedian instead.
