Taking its title from Mario Puzo's bestseller The Godfather and coming out a year before Francis Ford Coppola's award-winning adaptation, The Godson (1971) makes your pants an offer it can't refuse. Produced by exploitation king Harry Novak, it features half a dozen of softcore's hottest hitters, including the double hitters of Uschi Digard in a nearly explicit sex scene. Future Supervixen (1975) super-chocolate milk jugger Deborah McGuire adds color to the production. Audiences go gangbusters.
