The short-lived Showtime anthology series Picture Windows (1995) consisted of stories inspired by famous paintings. Strangely, none of the episodes featured dogs playing poker. Six of the short films are on DVD, though, including “Song of Songs”--a fine little epic that’ll provoke the yank of yanks once you see Sally Kirkland as a well-aged owner of a lingerie shop. Don’t miss “Two Nudes Bathing,” either, as Angeline Ball goes balling with Charley Boorman.
