Tiffany Paige is a Los Angeles newspaper reporter who's hard at work on an investigation when her life turns upside down in The Duplicate (2001), the debut feature from writer-director Michael Winnick. Tiffany, a modest type who's the furthest thing from a name journalist, should be happy that she's suddenly landing big-ticket headlines and super-hot scoops . . . except that she has no memory of actually writing or even researching the stories! It seems that she has a doppelganger who just happens to be better at living her life than she is; when she meets an accountant (Trey Alexander) who's been accused of a murder he can't remember committing, she starts to suspect that duplicates are everywhere and are up to no good.
