One of the prime differences between men and women is that the ladies have a wholly unrealistic idea of what it means for a guy to act his age. The female notion of male maturity (developed as the winsome lass moves through the stages of supple youth toward a ripe and randy middle age) insists that an emotionally adult fellow will find his greatest sexual fulfillment within the arms and thighs of a gal from his same generation. Such is the view posited and championed by Something's Gotta Give (2003), a film that, despite the presence of eternally young Jack Nicholson, is directed, after all, by a woman.
