Kids who are functioning just beyond the cusp of puberty do the darnedest things: silly, hormonally motivated acts of impulsivity and obsession that are later exploited as the raw material for innocently sexual teen fare such as American Pie Presents Band Camp (2005). In this fourth installment of the American Pie franchise, an unruly adolescent is forced by his parents to attend band camp as atonement for his teenage derelictions. Naturally, as soon as the young reprobate arrives, he sets about installing secret cameras in the girls’ shower stalls. The weird thing is that this normal high-school guy falls in love and embarks on a program of self-betterment. Can good intentions survive on this island of nubile temptations?
