The potential for nuclear Armageddon is a real-world possibility that shadows the existence of every human being on the planet today, where life as we know it could be ended at any moment in a cataclysmic radioactive blast. But a rain of atom bombs is only the beginning of the bad news for the harrowed survivors of Zombie Night (2003). Returning from an idyllic countryside getaway, a married couple and their child are shocked to learn that the missiles of annihilation have been let fly. The family unit takes refuge in a dank cellar shelter. A few days later, the feisty threesome ventures to the surface and is horrified that the earth has been overrun by ravaging gangs of flesh-eating corpses. The real trouble starts when they hook up with a band of healthy people.
