A-list German actors Martina Gedeck and Hannes Jaenicke catapulted to national stardom on the strength of the gritty feature-length television film Die Beute (1988). Part of a wave of chic Euro crime productions from the late 1980s, Dominik Graf’s film follows the dutiful employees of a police precinct as they battle crime and corruption. Knockout lead actress Martina Gedeck takes some time off from policing to treat her man (and the camera) to enticing views of ample flesh. Not to be outdone, glamorous Wookie Mayer struts her stuff in a scantily clad jaunt around the bedroom.
