A married couple goes on the run after inadvertently causing a deadly highway pile-up in the suspenseful Mexican thriller La Ciudad al desnudo (1989). With the cops breathing down their necks, lovers Alfonso (Ignacio Elizarrarás) and Aurelia (Lourdes Elizarrarás) bring their infant daughter to a dilapidated hotel, where they hunker down in a room to ponder their next move. Things are thrown into total disarray, however, by the arrival of a thuggish street gang, who begins moving between units in order to rape, brutalize, and terrify the guests. Elizarrarás exhibits a generous bit of flesh in a role that finds her undressing both voluntarily and under extreme duress.
