If there’s one theme that seems to make good TV, no matter what the language, it’s a good courtroom drama. Lawyers & Associates, a French series that began in 1998, is just that. Let’s just call it Le Law And Order. Francois-Eric Gendron, Victor Garrivier, Julie Debazac, Micky Sebastien and Frederic Gorny star in this look at the lives of those inhabiting a French legal firm and you can imagine what kind of issues they have to face. Nothing we haven’t seen a million times before but there’s something stirring about seeing a Francais lawyeress jump to her feet and yell, “objection, votre honneur!“ You won’t find any skin in this series… Well, maybe the odd shoulder but the reason we’ve mentioned it at all is because of a one-off appearance by Edea Darcque, who had previously given the camera a look at her chocolate clam in Une Journee De Merde! Or, as it’s translated to in English, One Day of Shit!
