Shot in the mockumentary style made popular by The Office, the satirical comedy Modern Family features an ensemble cast including Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and TV veteran Ed O’Neill. The show follows three families, one blended, one traditional, and one gay couple. Julie Bowen and Sofía Vergara round out the cast, but don’t expect to see what rounds them out. This is network TV.
