Spanish director-o David Trueba's Bienvenido a casa (2006) stars Alejo Sauras as Samuel, a photog-in-the-making who hightails it out of tinytown for the big time of Madrid. There he shacks up with Pilar López de Ayala and picks up a gig taking pictures for a local mag. His co-workers are a quirky lot, from a blind movie critic to a bunch of worn-out, run-down types who aren't that jazzed about what they write. One colleague, Ariadna Gil, is a reporter with a sharp investigative eye, and she gets Alejo to join her on a story about human trafficking and people snuffing. And Ariadna also shows off her chest stuffing! On the people-snogging front, Alejo has a few issues to work out with Pilar . . . who then ends up preggo. Way to go, Alejo!
