But you have to expect the unexpected, and you’ll be heartily rewarded in your pants after watching L’Amour Braque (1985), which is based on the Russian master-bator’s book The Idiot. It doesn’t take an idiot to see the selling point here, that being the young and naked Sophie Marceau. She plays Mary, and Mary may I see you naked? The answer is yes! In four skin scenes she shows everything she’s got. You want more? How about Christiane Jean, who dances completely nude on the bed. Figures it takes the French to see the worth in dreary literature.
