An anonymous gunman attempts to cut down a tyrannical television talk-show host in cold blood in the German thriller Einsatz Mord – Kommissarin Fleming und der Mord vor der Kamera (2000). Denise Virieux stars as the bubbly host, with an ego to match her blockbuster ratings. When police detectives begin assembling a list of suspects, they learn that there are dozens of colleagues, rivals, and enemies who’d prefer to see the star deep-sixed. Viewers who’d like to see Virieux’s wardrobe get lost are in for quite a treat; the sultry Swiss vixen drops her top on a number of scintillating occasions.
