Jason X (2001), the tenth installment in the venerable Friday the 13th franchise, takes place in the year 2455, when a group of students returns to a post-apocalyptic Earth to discover the cryogenically frozen body of unstoppable serial killer Jason Voorhees (played once again and for the last time by stuntman Kane Hodder) and bring him back to their ship. When the students accidentally thaw Jason out, they join the long list of his teenage victims as he picks them off one by one. But a sometimes-topless female android on board the ship uses her high-tech weaponry to finish Jason off, and it looks like the end until Jason falls into a chamber full of nanobots programmed to repair androids and is resurrected as a super-powerful cyborg. Finally the students manage to lure the masked killer into a virtual-reality world made to look like his old stomping grounds, Camp Crystal Lake, complete with topless teenage girls. Then, when he is distracted, the survivors push Jason out of an air hatch and send him hurtling through space to the planet below. Along the way, we see rackage from Kaye Penaflor and Tania Maro and faux funbags from sexy android Lisa Ryder. Followed by Freddy Vs. Jason (2003), Jason X gave genre fans everything they wanted: Jason, killing, blood, and big bare boobies. The “X” is for sex!
