Filmed five years after the death of the world’s most famous martial artist, The Image of Bruce Lee (1978) stars Bruce Li as a kung fu master out to individually disassemble a nefarious gang of international forgers. In a case of narrative fiction ironically mirroring reality, the counterfeit Bruce Lee kicks and punches senseless what appears to be half the population of Shanghai in his quest to rid the world of misrepresented fakes. The fight scenes are not quite continuous, but there is only time to grab a beverage and a bag of chips before the action starts up again.
