Honolulu (2001) is an episodic comedy -drama directed by no less than seven different students of the Filmhochschule in Munich (one of them being Academy Award- winner Florian Gallenberger). It stars an ensemble cast of young German actors and actresses which includes babes like Julia Hummer, Shira Fleisher, Chiara Schoras, as well as Mina Tander and tells seven stories of people who meet and fall in love with each other under, well, rather unusual circumstances. Since this outline requires all of the aforementioned ladies to do nude -scenes, there’s obviously no reason for us to complain about this well-executed little experiment.
