Greenwich Mean Time (1999) follows six London dropouts who try to make it in the fickle world of the British music industry. Call it punk, new wave, new romantic, or electronica, these lads beat-off to the sound of a different drummer thanks to the melodious charms of sweet sirens like Melanie Gutteridge. She is the only bird who spreads her wings and flies naked in this relentlessly hip flick, but Alicia Eyo and Georgia Mackenzie are fine feathered females. If you dig your sounds thumping and your women with an accent, then it’s always time for Greenwich Mean Time.
