Slashers (2001) is a Japanese reality show debuting in the US, where six contestants are locked in a scary warehouse with several serial killers. If they survive, they leave millionaires. If not, they leave in pieces. Less a satire than a preview of what's coming up next season on Fox TV, the movie still works as a frightening gore exploitation. "The Preacher," "Chainsaw Charlie" and "Dr. Ripper" are terrifying ghouls, while the Slasherettes are pants-pleasing as the show's cheerleaders. Sarah Joslyn Crowder shows off her heavy breasts in a disturbing but nonetheless delicious topless scene. And fellow contestant Brenda Thompson keeps things jiggy spending half the movie in a small black bra. Slashers will tear your privates to ribbons.
