Cupid, the capricious angel of romance and its eternal fluctuations, plays a starring off-screen role in Lover's Knot (1995), a feel-good relationship flick that mixes laughs and love. A lady doctor has tired of dating the emotionally compartmentalized scalpel wielders of her profession and has branched out in her soul-mate search to spend sack time with a college English professor who is hung up on flowery poets and their rhymes of eternal devotion.
