Serial killers get creepier every day. In American Crime (2004) the murderer videotapes himself stalking and killing his prey and then sends a tape of that to his next victim. When newscaster Rachael Leigh Cook, who has been covering the sordid case with her producer Annabella Sciorra, receives a videotape with topless Amy Arce getting killed, the idea of impartial journalism is thrown out the window. Sadly, both Rachael and Annabella keep their clothes on, but the plot pit stops at a go-go bar long enough for Julie Cialini to strip, making this a victimless American crime.
