Six African-American friends reunite following the untimely death of one of their friends in the heart-tugging ensemble comedy Flip the Script (2005). Robin Givens and Obba Babatunde star as two of the former college pals who are brought back to Los Angeles to attend a funeral for a mutual acquaintance. Much of the time is given over to grieving and nostalgia, but the six surviving thirty-somethings do kick things up a notch by attending to unfinished business, romantic and otherwise. Givens keeps her skin secrets guarded, but Mari Morrow is gracious enough to at least play the tease as she sashays about in a tight-fitting dress.
