Tintorera (1977) is the Mexican version of the mega-hit Jaws (1975), which means it’s spicier, hotter, and more exotic. For instance, the menacing meat-eater isn’t a great white but a tiger shark. The real difference, though, is in the gore and gorgeous girls who all take it off. This is no darkly silhouetted mainstream nudity. No, sir. Jennifer Ashley, Priscilla Barnes, Susan George, Fiona Lewis, and Laura Lyons do everything from showing fur to getting into threesomes. The shark isn’t the only creature dying to eat up these yummy morsels.
