In Blood Ties (1991), Jason London is on the run after Bo Hopkins and his followers in SCAV (Southern Christians Against Vampires) put stakes through the hearts of his parents. Actually, Hopkins is letting Jason lead him to a bigger group of vampires--or, as they prefer to be called, “Carpathian Americans.” Meanwhile, vampire journalist Harley Venton is hot blooded over Deputy District Attorney Kim Johnston Ulrich, whose sex scenes help turn this tame production into a cable-ready sexcapade.
