Serial Lover (1998) is the ingenious tale of Claire, a successful crime novelist who decides in her mid-thirties to finally settle down and choose one man to be her mate for life. The plan she conceives involves inviting over four ex-boyfriends and over the course of the evening deciding which one to invite into her life. Things go seriously amiss, however, when Claire inadvertently kills one of them. When the police show up, she somehow manages to off another one by mistake, and it gets worse from there.
