The Best Seller (1987) of the title is Brian Dennehy. He supplements his work as a police officer by penning crime novels. Then he meets up with James Woods, who claims to be an ex-hitman for a corporate bigwig. He's willing to spill his guts, and that's not all he's willing to share. When Woods picks up Claudia Stenke at the bar, he almost gives Dennehy a woody offering her for sloppy seconds. Guess Dennehy was full, because he passed on that tempting dish. Victoria Tennant sees the darker side of Woods when he threatens her with a knife. It'd be more disturbing if Victoria's secrets weren't propped up in a tight-fitting black-lace bra. Now that's a breast seller!
