The seventh feature based on a creepy Stephen King story, Children of the Corn 7: Revelation (2001) serves up another slice of Midwestern Americana horror. When Jamie Lowell (Claudette Mink) arrives in Nebraska to visit her grandmother, she discovers that the old woman has gone mysteriously missing. Granny’s dilapidated apartment building just happens to be adjacent to an eerie cornfield, causing Jamie to wonder if there’s something hiding among the stalks. Of course, in true horror fashion, the old crone’s not the only victim to get offed; a perky blonde cheerleader played by Crystal Lowe also watches the scythe fall, but not before revealing her proud heartland curves.
