You’ll be booking your own flight to the titular destination of Trastevere (1971) once you check out this travelogue of a dramedy. Vittorio De Sica travels the Roman neighborhood while looking for a wayward pet and stumbles upon an amazing cast of characters. The seedy locals are being overrun by bohemian tourists looking to have it all hang out--which is a big downer for the local nobility and a mixed blessing for the local hookers.
