Rappers and comedians populate Damon Dash’s comedy production Paper Soldiers (2002). Stand-up stud Kevin Hart stars as a down-on-his-luck dad who figures that the best way to provide for his family is by embracing the criminal life. But when his pal Stu (Beanie Sigel) gets tossed into the slammer for similar behavior, Shawn (Hart) second guesses whether he would be better off keeping to the straight and narrow. Dash rounds up Roc-A-Fella pals Memphis Bleek and Jay-Z for cameos, but it’s blonde babes Laurie Wallace and Julian Wells who really sizzle as Sapphic lovers, credited appropriately as Chicks.
