Art forger, con man, and all-around scoundrel Tom Ripley (Barry Pepper) returns to the screen in Ripley Under Ground (2005). After an up-and-coming artist (Douglas Henshall) dies in a flaming car crash, Ripley joins forces with another, more talented (but less charming) artist (Ian Hart), the deceased artist’s ex (Claire Forlani) and a shady art dealer (Alan Cumming). The motley crew concocts a scheme to impersonate the dead painter and make a mint forging his signature on a batch of “new” paintings. But a shrewd investigator (Tom Wilkinson) threatens to expose their lies.

You'll be picking your own pocket with Claire Forlani as sexy ex Cynthia. Claire strips to her skivvies having sex in the studio 32 minutes in, and appears in her panties again popping bottles 1 hour, 28 minutes in. She’s pretty as a picture, but even the talented Mr. Ripley can’t crack Claire’s nudity safe.
