An office drone becomes a reluctant corporate executioner in the Italian comedy Volevo solo dormirie assosso (2004). When young cubicle-dweller Mark (Giorgio Pasotti) is offered a management position, he jumps at the opportunity. But Mark's new job- lay off 25 employees by the end of the year without interference from the unions-turns out to be more trouble than it's worth as his coworkers come to universally despise him. When Mark ends up just short of his goal, with a big cash bonus and company car at stake, he finds a creative way to procure that 25th resignation.
