Based on a short story by Fernando Vizcaino Casas, the smoldering erotic drama Niñas... al salón (1977) was released in the wake of Spain’s rocky transition to democracy. With Franco suddenly out of the picture, Spanish filmmakers were free to churn out lurid exploitation fare, and they responded to the opportunity by releasing some of Europe’s hottest smut.
