The titular (real life) rock band in Killer Barbys (1996) aren’t a bad little combo, dolled up like Marilyn Manson but sounding more like sharp L.A. punk-popsters. Too bad that they don’t know they’re starring in a film directed by veteran goremeister Jesus Franco. Otherwise, the flashy rockers wouldn’t take refuge in a creepy old castle after their van breaks down. Mariangela Giordano is awfully hot as their horrific hostess, but she’s got a 150-year-old beauty secret that involves sucking out the blood of young people. They don’t have to be virgins, either, which is why Angie Barea is on the menu.
