Although the bulk of our young men and women serving in the armed forces are admirable, ethical citizens, the Navy always seems to attract the odd fuckup. Such was the message of The Last Detail (1974), and such is the premise of Chasers (1994). Whereas in Detail a pair of crusty swabbies were escorting a court-martialed male to the brig, Chasers improves upon the formula by enlisting two lovably gruff sailors to accompany the phenomenally hot blonde Erika Eleniak to her incarceration. Eleniak employs every wile at her disposal to escape her fate, and plenty of those wiles are nakedly obvious.
