Effectively shaking off the potential cheesiness of the Max Headroom era, this big-screen, twenty-first-century Miami Vice (2006) casts Colin Farrell as Sonny Crockett and Jamie Foxx as Rico Tubbs, South Florida detectives who are at breakneck-paced war with high-tech drug traffickers. Updating the bikini bait of the original show most beautifully are Naomie Harris and Gong Li. Now those knockouts are Miami Nice!
