Diana, who led her daughter Lara-Joy Körner into the German entertainment biz, started her career in 1967 with a supporting role in Die Blaue Hand. Since then, Diana has been rather successful in her various acting pursuits, rising to the proverbial top of der heap with parts in such German productions as the Bulle von Tölz series of made-for-TV films, various roles in the Tatort series of made-for-TV flicks and such mini-series as Der Stechlin. Sadly, the closest thing this comely lass has done to a recognizable English-speaking role was as “German Girl” in Stanley Kubrick’s 1975 picture Barry Lyndon, so she remains largely unknown to American audiences…
