A French alpha male attracts and humiliates the women he woos in the eyebrow-raising erotic thriller Le Feu sous la peau (1985). Gérard Kikoïne’s softcore romp translates loosely as Fire beneath the Skin, which evokes both the sexual violence imposed by the sadistic Raphael (Kevin Bernhardt) and the visceral sensation of seeing co-stars Eva Czemerys and Lydie Denier strut their stuff. The beauties succumb to their searing lust in barns, public parks, and parking lots before this wild ride comes to a full stop.
