Directed by Jack Hill after a string of sex-cessful blaxploitation movies starring black-is-boob-iful Pam Grier, The Swinging Cheerleaders (1974) is the Watergate of wank films. In it, aspiring muckraker Jo Johnston plays a radical college reporter intent on taking down the anti-feminist cheerleading squad by infiltrating its ranks and exposing its crimes against womanhood. But how can she resist the top-heavy charms of future Playboy Playmate of the Month Rosanne Katon and the studly quarterback? He seduces Jo and she in turn reveals her round end zone and plumb goal posts. The addled hippies are vanquished and Jo is saved from a life of dirty hair and love beads. Swing is in the air!
