French film staple Jean-Louis Trintignant stars in his then-wife Nadine Trintignant’s screen drama about a honeymoon holiday gone dreadfully awry. Le Voyage de noces (1976), distributed internationally as The Honeymoon Trip, stars Trintignant as a long-married husband who hopes that a second honeymoon can help to rekindle his failing marriage. Instead, the trip proves a catalyst for a series of infidelities that leave both parties reeling and reveling.
