A police photographer allows work to disturb his sanity in the low-budget psycho-thriller Camera Obscura (2000). Adam Trese stars as Jimmy, a happily married photographer who endures a lengthy job search before procuring work with the L.A.P.D. As he busies himself with shooting crime scenes night in and night out, Jimmy begins to grow perversely interested in the tableaux of the victims and starts taking pains to arrange his corpses more artfully. Amidst this madness, Jimmy’s wife, Maria (Ariadna Gil), struggles to make cash in order to rescue her hubby from his psyche-scrambling occupation. By stripping for dough in a seedy Los Angeles lounge, Gil manages to bedazzle viewers with her top-quality pole work.
