Well, A Breed Apart (1984) is certainly one of the manliest movies ever made about egg collecting. Rutger Hauer is the Vietnam vet who pulls a rifle on anyone who dares to come hunting on his island full of rare birds. Powers Boothe is the mountain climber who’s on a secret mission to raid the nest of two eagles. And Kathleen Turner is the local storeowner who serves as the love interest of both men--but not in the way that you’re hoping.
