Fair Game (1985) is an Australian action film.

Cassandra Delaney runs a wildlife sanctuary, and runs afoul of a group of kangaroo poachers on her way to town. This begins an ever-escalating battle between the pacifist Delaney, and the coarse poachers who photograph her naked while she is sleeping, try to run her off the road, hunt her, and destroy all of her buildings with their truck.

Her retaliation, for the most part, is clever and tame. I especially like the part where she sneaks into their camp while they are asleep and welds their guns into a metal sculpture.

They finally go too far by shooting her horse, and she fights back in earnest. Delaney shows her breasts often, especially in one long scene where the men tie her to the front of the beast (their truck), cut off most of her clothes, and drive around with her there for awhile. The film has some of the energy of Spielberg's Duel, except that it is not an unknown evil relentlessly pursuing her.

Delaney is probably better known as a former wife of John Denver, and mother to one of his children, than for her four film roles. I found her delightful, with enough energy to make up for the drab Australian outback. If you like this genre, action films with naked women, this one is a decent watch. I give it a solid C.
