Based on a French pulp fiction series, Le Poulpe (1998) follows the exploits of The Octopus, a hard-boiled private detective with a band of cohorts who help him in his career through the streets of Paris. This one involves Clotilde Courau, the Octopus’s bisexual girlfriend. Courau provides us with plenty of gawking material, whether she is doing the nasty in bed or waving a gun around in the all-together.
